Business Overview An established global supplier of apparels is seeking an Account Manager to manage their European accounts. Account Manager: The role: The ideal candidate will: Be an experienced sales professional with a strong track record of selling into high street accounts in Europe (Germany/France/Spain/Portugal). Be hands-on with product development, working with factories in the Far East, costings, and negotiations with both buyers and factories. Have an excellent eye for trends and products, being able to spot gaps in the market. Be savvy and highly commercial. Be a good manager, as they will have a small team of merchandisers, techs, and designers to work with. Come from a supplier/manufacturer or a buying background (ideally supermarkets) looking to make a move into the manufacturing side. Language skills would be an advantage.
