Join our team as an EPC Contract Manager (all genders) in Porto, where you will play a critical role in managing and negotiating contracts for the construction of photovoltaic (PV) and wind power plants. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to shaping the renewable energy landscape.
Responsibilities:Oversee the negotiation, administration, and compliance of SubEPC contracts, ensuring alignment with company policies and collaboration across Procurement, Engineering, Project Management, and Legal teams.Assist project teams in contract interpretation, compliance, and managing SubEPC deadlines to minimize risks and ensure timely execution of deliverables.Maintain accurate records of all contractual communications with subcontractors and clients, updating documentation through addenda as required.Assess, negotiate, and resolve claims or variations, ensuring proper interpretation and implementation of contracts in cooperation with relevant departments.Drive adherence to contractual obligations, maintaining alignment with main contracts and supporting internal teams in risk assessment and resolution.Minimum Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Law, Business Administration, Finance, Engineering, or a comparable field.Minimum of 5 years of experience in EPC contract management, ideally within the renewable energy sector.Comprehensive knowledge of EPC structures, including risk allocation, pricing models (e.g., lump-sum, cost-plus), and key terms. Proficient in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts to safeguard organizational interests.Skilled in mitigating project risks, managing contract variations, and resolving claims and disputes efficiently while maintaining project progress.Fluent in English and Portuguese, with strong communication skills for internal and external stakeholders.
