Environment And Safety Coordinator

Allient Inc. is seeking a qualified professional to fill the position of Environment and Safety Coordinator! The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the effective implementation of policies, procedures, and practices related to workplace safety and health, as well as the management and maintenance of the best environmental practices.
Responsibilities: • Develop and implement policies, programs, and procedures for safety, health, and the environment.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, automotive customer regulatory standards and applicable legislation regarding safety and the environment.
• Conduct audits to ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards.
• Investigate workplace incidents and accidents, identifying root causes and implementing corrective measures.
• Organize and conduct training and information sessions for employees on safe work practices and environmental procedures.
• Manage waste management programs, conservation of natural resources, and reduction of environmental impacts.
• Maintain accurate records and reports of compliance with applicable legislation.
Requirements: • Academic background in Environmental Engineering, Occupational Safety Engineering, or related fields.
•Proven experience in similar roles.
•Deep knowledge of safety and environmental legislation.
•Ability to engage and motivate teams, promoting a culture of safety and environmental awareness.
•Excellent communication skills and ability to interact effectively with various stakeholders.
•CAP (Certificate of Aptitude Professional) of Technician Superior in Safety and Hygiene at Work, level VI, at a minimum.
•Experience on automotive industry
