Hybrid (2 days per week in the office)
You will be responsible for the development of OS-related software in embedded Linux, Android, and/or QNX, which might include writing Bash, Python and/or Rust scripts, bitbake recipes, driver development for various devices, various hardware abstraction layers, hypervisor and virtual machine management, and OS optimizations. You will also be able to work with BSP integration and device bring-ups, to manage resources in multi-OS environment, to port Yocto Linux drivers and functionalities to AOSP and QNX environment.
Your profile
Core skills (at least 8 years of experience): Strong understanding of embedded Linux architecture, configuration, monitoring, and profiling;
Thorough knowledge of the lower layers of AOSP and the Android OS architecture;
Strong knowledge of Android Automotive OS (AAOS);
Strong knowledge of Android Build System (Make, Soong);
Experience with development of Linux/Android HALs;
Proficient in C and strong demonstrable embedded C/C++ development skills;
Strong knowledge of Embedded C++ design principles, patterns, and best practices;
Advanced Device Drivers knowledge;
Proficient in Git version control;
Experience with scripting/programming in Bash, Python, and/or Rust;
Experience with hypervisor-based systems (preferably QNX);
Knowledge in low level communication protocols: SPI, I2C, UART, CAN, Ethernet;
Good analytical, relational and communication skills.
Additional skills (considered a plus): Experience with QNX;
Knowledge of Yocto, and/or Buildroot;
Knowledge in diagnose tools (CANoe, CANalyzer);
Knowledge of Functional Safety, ISO26262, ASPICE;
Knowledge of AUTOSAR;
Ability to read device datasheet and implement in drivers;
Ability to read and understand basic electronic schematics.
