YOUR ROLE
Be part of the Embedded and Safety-Critical Systems technical unit, developing the new generation of embedded and real-time systems that are highly connected, with massive processing power and performing complex applications.
The Embedded and Safety-Critical Systems technical unit at Capgemini Engineering is dedicated to offering packaged solutions to clients in all industries (including automotive and life sciences), helping them create new business opportunities and new experiences for their users.
We are looking for talented DevOps engineers to join one of our embedded systems project's DevEnv team. We are looking for someone capable of maintaining a good development environment for embedded software development, including CICD pipelines, and associated infrastructure.
YOUR PROFILE
Core skills (at least 5 years of experience):
Hands-on experience in creating and maintaining development environments (including CICD) for embedded software, and related infrastructure.
Solid knowledge in Python (including OOP).
Solid experience setting up CICD pipelines with Jenkins to enable continuous testing of firmware in the real product hardware or equivalent target.
Experience with Linux and Git.
Good knowledge of C / C++ and related tools for software project setup (e.g. Cmake, Make, gcc, etc.) is highly valued.
Knowledge of embedded systems development is valued.
Knowledge of provisioning tools such as Ansible is valued.
Knowledge of k8s / Docker / containers is valued.
Experience in an Agile way-of-working (e.g. SCRUM, SAFe).
Good written and spoken English level
Curious and proactive personality, willing to actively collaborate with other engineers.
Able to travel within European Union for initial training.
