Our client is a company that is expanding greatly in the energy market and is one of the largest methanol producers in the world. They work on EPC projects in various parts of the world.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide technical support during the preparation of proposals, specifically focusing on the electrical scope of work.
Perform electrical engineering activities across all project phases, including conceptual design, FEED (Front End Engineering Design), and detailed design.
Develop essential electrical design documents, including Single Line Diagrams (SLDs), material lists, data sheets, specifications, and design reports.
Contribute to the development of 3D models and 2D drawings.
Develop and review procurement inquiries, evaluate supplier quotations, and prepare technical tabulations and recommendations.
Oversee equipment and material purchases by reviewing and approving documentation, monitoring fabrication, and performing inspections, including Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT).
Provide technical assistance on-site during electrical erection, commissioning, and start-up phases as needed.
Experience:
At least 5 years of work experience in industrial projects.
Required Qualifications:
Degree in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Power Systems.
Preferred experience in sectors such as Power, Heavy Industry, Gas Separation, Oil/Natural Gas, or Process Facilities.
Strongly valued experience in construction projects.
Previous experience in Electrical Network Analysis and Protection (using tools like ETAP or similar) and commissioning will be advantageous.
Proficiency in English; additional language skills in French, Portuguese, or Spanish are beneficial.
Competence in MS Office applications.
Soft skills include being target-oriented and a team player.
Availability for regular travel and the ability to spend periods abroad as required.
