Quiet Studios is seeking a senior interior architect or interior designer.
Founded in 2016 by Daniela Franceschini, Quiet Studios is a full-service interior design firm based in Lisbon. The studio focuses on atemporal design for residential and commercial spaces, with a complementary portfolio of hospitality and product design projects.
Requirements:
Degree in architecture, interior architecture, or interior design, or commensurate professional experience required
Experience: 5-7 years of professional experience in Interior Design or Architecture, with a focus on high-end projects
Proven experience in the hospitality sector and knowledge of the current industry
Experience with managing and leading design projects in residential and hospitality sectors
Proven track record of delivering high-quality work within deadlines and managing multiple projects simultaneously
Comprehensive understanding of FF&E, joinery, and detailing
Knowledge and proficiency with AutoCAD and Sketch Up or Rhino, Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, and Google Workspace
Experience coordinating project documentation execution, construction plans, and details, ensuring quality control and completion
Experience monitoring construction
Experience with material sourcing and working with vendors, suppliers, and tradesmen/persons
Excellent project management skills
Demonstrated ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively without supervision
Exceptional problem solving, organization, and follow-through skills; an organized and enthusiastic "self-starter" with a quick and efficient work ethic who proactively follows up to ensure issue resolution
Superior communication, interpersonal, and client relationship skills
Skilled in preparing reports and specifications; reviewing plans, cost estimates, and calculations
Ability to provide solutions to design problems
Excellent presentation skills
Meticulous attention to detail and high level of accuracy
Technical savvy with the ability to learn new systems quickly
Fluency in English and Portuguese
This is an in-person, Lisbon-based role. Applicants must be eligible to work in Portugal.
Portfolio with completed drawings and executed project work required.
