TasksPosition Overview: We are seeking a talented DevOps Engineer to join our team remotely. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, operations, and automation, with a focus on implementing and maintaining robust CI/CD pipelines, monitoring systems, and infrastructure as code (IaC) solutions. This individual will work closely with cross-functional teams to accelerate the delivery of high-quality software and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities: Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automating software build, test, and deployment processes.Configure and manage infrastructure as code (IaC) solutions using tools such as Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or Ansible.Automate repetitive tasks and workflows using scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python, PowerShell).Monitor, analyze, and optimize system performance, reliability, and scalability using monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or Datadog.Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to troubleshoot issues, implement best practices, and ensure smooth deployment and operation of services.Implement security best practices and compliance requirements across infrastructure and applications.Stay updated on emerging technologies, tools, and trends in DevOps and cloud computing, and evaluate their potential impact on our environment.Participate in on-call rotations and provide timely response and resolution to production incidents.RequirementsQualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.5 years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or related roles.Strong proficiency in scripting and automation using languages such as Bash, Python, or PowerShell.Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.Hands-on experience with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and container orchestration systems (e.g., Kubernetes).Proficiency in CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or CircleCI.Solid understanding of networking, security, and Linux/Unix systems administration.Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with a proactive and collaborative approach.Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote team environment.Preferred Qualifications: Professional certifications in DevOps or cloud computing (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Certified Kubernetes Administrator).Experience with infrastructure monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or Datadog.Knowledge of serverless computing and microservices architectures.Familiarity with agile methodologies and agile project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Agile).
