You will provide general assistance in complying with data protection regulations in the Iberian Peninsula in the Group's different companiesAlso, you will articipate in quarterlyCompliance Committee meeting and make regular reports about the status ofthe data privacy management system (Local CRB)Furthermore, autonomously records the movements of the DPPOs in the One Trust system to keep it up to date and contacts the DPPOs as often as necessary to review personal data processing activities and creates new Processing Activity Records together with the DPPOsMoreover, you will carry out impact assessments together with the DPPOs, with external support when necessary, and liaises with the DPPOsYou will create personal data processing agreements, joint control agreements, negotiates with external activities and assists in the documentation of internal data transfers in accordance with the Linde Group's internal data transfer framework as well as clauses for different contracts of all kinds related to personal data protection issuesProvide legal support in the management of personal data processing activities in balance with other legal issues that may have an impactFurthermore, monitors incidents of personal data breaches and is the point of contact with the group's data protection officerYou will respond to incidents registered on the ISQR management platform in accordance with the mandatory deadlines, both to guarantee their resolution and to provide support to the business areasMore, you will provide training to the DPPOs on specific local data protection issues, in accordance with the procedures that the local company has implemented, either in Portugal or in Spain and/or, in the absence of procedures, encourages the DPPOs to create themProvide support to the compliance area, being the local contact in Portugal for compliance issues and liaising with external entities (lawyers, when necessary)Respond to internal and external data protection audits and deals autonomously with all non-conformitiesWhat makes you great You have an Educational Background: A bachelor's or master's degree in law, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Business Administration, or a related fieldMore, a Professional Certification: Certifications such as Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), or similar credentials in data protection and privacyYou demonstrate several years of experience in data protection or a related field, with a focus on EU GDPR and local data privacy lawsYou have a s solid understanding of legal and regulatory requirements related to data privacy and protection.You are familiar with data protection and privacy technologies, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and other relevant software for managing data privacy tasksExcellent written and verbal communication skills for interacting with various stakeholders and regulatory authoritiesStrong analytical skills to assess data privacy risks and implement appropriate mitigation strategies.You are able to manage data privacy projects and initiatives from conception to implementationWhy you will love working with us Are you looking for challenges? This role is a full time position based on an unlimited contract. The standard weekly working hours will be from 08:00 hrs till 17:00 hrs. Have we inspired you?
