In charge of defining & implementing data policies, standards and practices, to achieve the required level of consistency, quality and protection to meet overall business needs. In charge of working closely with Business and Functional area leadership to improve the quality and value of core data assets. RESPONSIBILITIES & MAIN TASKS Develop and maintain a data management framework with clear roadmap and communicate progress to senior management and other stakeholders. Develop, implement, and maintain a data governance framework that includes policies, procedures, and standards for data management, data quality, data security, and data privacy. Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization, including IT, legal, compliance, and business units, to ensure alignment with data governance policies, procedures, and standards. Develop and deliver data governance training programs for stakeholders across the organization to ensure understanding and compliance with data governance policies, procedures, and standards. Monitor and report on data governance program effectiveness, including adherence to data policies and procedures, data quality metrics, and data security and privacy controls. Ensure metadata is clearly defined, communicated, and well understood and considered as part of operational prioritization and planning. Develop and implement data quality management processes to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency. Establish data classification to enable protection measures on sensitive data from unauthorized access, use, and disclosure. Stay up to date with the latest trends, developments, and best practices in data governance and related fields, and provide thought leadership to the organization. Collaborate with external partners and vendors to ensure data governance requirements are met. Keep up-to-date with evolving data governance trends, regulations, and best practices.
