Data Engineer

Randstad Digital is recruiting a Data Engineer to join a leading client in the industrial sector located in Porto.

Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines in cloud environments, utilizing technologies such as AWS, Azure, or GCP;Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data requirements and implement effective solutions that meet business needs;
Optimize data processing and storage for performance, reliability, and cost-efficiency;
Ensure data integrity and security throughout the pipeline, adhering to best practices and compliance standards;
Ensure best data modelling and transformation practices;
Stay updated with the latest advancements in cloud technologies and data engineering practices, continuously improving our data infrastructure.

competências
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering;
Minimum of 3 years of proven experience as a Data Engineer, with a focus on building data pipelines in cloud environments;
Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R;
Proficient in structured query languages;
Hands-on experience with cloud platforms and services, such as Google Cloud (Dataflow, BigQuery), AWS (App Flow, S3, EC2, Glue, Lambda) or Azure (Data Factory);
Familiarity with data warehousing concepts, ETL processes, and data modeling techniques;
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
