This platform plays a vital role in generating large datasets for diverse clients and brings to bear innovative technologies, primarily utilising Databricks and its latest features like Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, and Terraform. You'll also actively contribute to implementing the platform and play a crucial role in crafting its strategic direction.Apply for an outstanding career opportunity that encourages innovative thinking and making a real impact on the world.Key OutcomesBe responsible for the delivery of tested, high-quality code.Adhere to coding standards and implementation of Kantar Technology standards.Build suitable automation test suites within Azure DevOps, as well as maintaining and updating them as often as required.Carry out manual testing, load testing, and exploratory testing whenever needed.Work closely with BAS and Senior Data Engineers to consistently achieve sprint goals.Assist in estimation of sprint-by-sprint stories and tasks.Pro-actively take a responsible approach to product delivery.Key CapabilitiesYour background will ideally look like this…University Degree (Bachelor's or Master's Degree) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.Business proficiency in English (B2 Level Minimum Required).Proven programming experience with Python as well as with PySpark, Databricks, and Apache Spark.Professional experience with a Cloud Services platform (Azure/AWS/GCP) and infrastructure – preferably MS Azure.Comfortable working with ETL data pipelines with large volumes of continuous data.With the following qualities…Inquisitive, with critical thinking, and demonstrates a genuine passion for consumer behavior.Enjoys actively looking for new and more efficient ways of improving processes, raising standards, reducing errors, and overcoming omissions.Is proactive, optimistic, and willing to get involved to achieve the team's goals and objectives.Is highly collaborative and adaptable with the ability to work optimally within different cultural and technical environments.Possesses outstanding communication and interpersonal skills in order to comfortably connect with partners at all levels across the organization and facilitates discussions in a constructive manner.
