Mediaprobe is looking for a Data Architect who possesses a minimum of 4 years of experience in database design, data architecture, and data modeling.

As a Data Architect , you will design, implement, and maintain a scalable, secure, and high-performance database architecture that supports business operations.
Joining us means becoming a key player in our Product Development team, where you will report directly to the Head of Product Development. You will play a crucial role in elevating industry standards with cutting-edge technology and best practices!
Key Responsibilities: Design, implement, and maintain a scalable, secure, and high-performance database architecture that supports business operations.
Gather and analyze business requirements to model and structure data.
Lead efforts to migrate legacy databases to modern systems.
Ensure data governance and security standards are met across the database infrastructure.
Collaborate with software developers to ensure that database solutions align with application needs.
Establish and maintain data pipelines and ensure smooth ETL processes.
Articulate the needs of different departments regarding their data usage and sponsor improvements.
Requirements: 4+ years of experience in database design, data architecture, and data modeling.
Proven ability to gather business requirements and translate them into scalable and efficient database solutions.
Expertise in database management systems (e.g., PostgreSQL), as well as NoSQL solutions like MongoDB.
Strong knowledge of data modeling techniques (e.g., ER diagrams, star schema, snowflake schema) and experience in both logical and physical database design.
Experience in database migration, integrating legacy systems into modern data architectures.
Strong skills in ETL processes, data integration techniques, and ensuring data integrity during migration.
Expertise in data governance practices, ensuring compliance with security and privacy standards.
Experience with cloud-based databases (e.g., AWS RDS, Google Cloud Databases).
Solid understanding of data normalization, denormalization, indexing, and query optimization for high performance.
Familiarity with BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker) to support data views and reporting.
Strong ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical teams and communicate complex database concepts clearly.
