YOU!Description:We are seeking a Data Governance and Azure Databricks Specialist with expertise in modern data architectures and analytical technologies to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in implementing and managing data governance frameworks, advanced knowledge of Azure Databricks (including Unity Catalog), and familiarity with machine learning models and cloud platforms.The role involves designing and maintaining data models, ensuring compliance with governance and security standards, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive data-driven decisions.
Responsibilities include managing data access and permissions, configuring and administering Databricks environments, and aligning data strategies with business goals.Must have:Degree in Software Engineering or Computer Engineering or similarGood written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work in a collaborative environment and with global teamsAbility for critical analysis and focused on problem solvingCommitment to quality of deliveriesEnglishUpdated knowledge of databases and analytical technologies, including datalake/lakehouse architectures and NoSQL storageExperience in Cloud Platforms (one or more: AWS, Google, Azure)Knowledge of data governance and data security practicesKnowledge of Machine Learning, algorithms and statistical models (such as classification, time series analysis, regression)Nice to have:Knowledge of the Energy & Utilities market and GDPRKnowledge of Agile methodology, JIRA and Confluence toolsPortugueseSpanishTop Skills:Technical Expertise:Azure Databricks ProficiencyData Governance and SecurityCloud Platform ExperienceData Modeling and AnalysisAdministrative Expertise:Metastore AdministrationWorkspace AdministrationCollaboration and Communication:Cross-Team CollaborationYears of Experience: up to 5 years of experience in the role for the service to be contractedType of project: ArchitectureHybrid Position
