As a Senior Software Engineer in the Developer Relations team in Lisbon, you will contribute to the scalability of our API ecosystem and ensure top-notch developer tooling for our customers. This unique position offers an opportunity to work on cutting-edge API fundamentals while implementing industry-standard tooling.
What you'll be doing:Tackle scalability challenges, optimising latency for critical API endpoints.Work in and collaborate with cross-functional teams to build the best products for our customers.Design, build, and maintain end-to-end systems that support Mollie's internal teams.What you'll bring:A minimum of 5 years experience in developing large-scale & high performing web applications.You led the design of large-scale systems, handling performance, scalability and latency.PHP experience is preferable. We welcome experience in other languages.Knowledge of modern queuing and caching systems like RabbitMQ and Redis.Creative problem-solving skills.Great communication skills and a proven past of working effectively with different stakeholders.Nice to have:A background working with Google Cloud Platform and/or working as a DevOps engineer.Kindly note that relocation support is not offered for this role.
