About the Role
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Cyber Security Operations Manager who will work independently and transparently to ensure that Convatec's IT systems remain protected from cyber threats and ensures that IT teams are prepared to handle cyber incidents.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensuring that the cyber security team operates efficiently and effectively, and that the required solutions are in place and correctly configured to allow the detection of cyber threats.
Has authority over cyber security operations, standards to which teams operate to, and authority to invoke incident and response capability.
Ensuring that software and configurational vulnerabilities are identified, reported, and remediated in a timely manner.
Reporting the effectiveness of cyber security operations and cyber risks Convatec is exposed to in a timely manner, through regular management reporting and scheduled presentations.
About You
Minimum 5 years' experience in Cyber Security Operations.
Bachelor's degree in cyber security, computer science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
CISSP or equivalent certification.
Knowledge and understanding of cyber security concepts and principles.
Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
Ability to demonstrate that you can influence others (key stakeholders including business) through explanation of facts, policies, and practices.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to facilitate cross-functional teams.
Up-to-date knowledge of security and technical privacy best practices across all domains of the NIST Cyber Security Framework v1.1, Center for Internet Security Critical Security Controls.
Strong personal organizational skills.
Knowledge of network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls and associated network protocols and concepts.
