The Controller IT projects & Lisbon of Corporate Services within Beyond Gravity ensures transparency of the IT project financials, adherence to the finance guidelines and steers the project budget in accordance with budget and forecasts. The role is responsible for setting up and leading the newly established controlling function for our Center of Excellence in Lisbon. The position acts as the counterpart of all project managers and the IT demand organization and works closely together with the other Controllers of BG Corporate Services and all other financial counterparts within the organization. Capturing a true global view on project costs is a key deliverable for this position.
Your mission
Lead the operational planning, forecast and budgeting activities for all IT projects within BG Corporate Services
Manage all global project related controlling processes based on the controlling process model BG Corporate Services
Foster and develop the collaboration between the project stakeholders in accordance with the company values and goals
Coordinate the plans and goals of each project and ensure financial steering of the activities within the projects
Further develop the project related controlling system and ensure data integrity within the systems
Challenge project organizations to drive continuous improvements and cost transparency
In case of deviations define countermeasures to meet agreed financial targets of the projects
Conduct operational controlling for the Projects
Set up new controlling function for Beyond Gravity's CoE in Lisbon
Ensure compliant recharge model for provided services within the Group
Provide finance expertise for development and growth of the Business Unit
Responsible for monthly controlling reports with target performance comparison
Continuously review project performance and drive profitability analysis
Project and cost center controlling
Forecast and Budget planning incl. Balance Sheet, P&L, Free Cash Flow
Support external audits
Conduct reviews and evaluations for cost-improvement opportunities
Your story
5-10 years of experience in a similar role related to IT Service delivery
Sound knowledge of IT Services and IT Controlling
University degree (bachelor a must, master preferred)
International Business Experience
Strong consultancy skills with a drive for continuous improvements
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Open minded
Nice to have's:
Experience supporting/partnering with operational leaders, i.e. CIO, EVP Division Lead, General Managers
Solid understanding of International Accounting Standards
