Offer Description Universite de Technologie de Compiègne is seeking a researcher in cooperative control architecture to ensure sustainable and reliable navigation of autonomous vehicles in complex environments.
Mission:
The hired individual will be responsible for conducting research for a project on high integrity navigation systems for autonomous vehicles. The research will focus on a cooperative control architecture for sustainable and reliable navigation of autonomous vehicles in complex environments.
Main Activities: Conduct a literature review on cooperative control architectures (Intelligent Vehicles - Intelligent Infrastructures).
Propose a control architecture for Intelligent Vehicles interacting with Road Side Units (RSU).
Integrate control/decision-making software on Intelligent Vehicles and RSU.
Implement experiments on the SEVILLE experimental track with multiple Intelligent Vehicles in vehicle-vehicle and vehicle-infrastructure coordination.
Minimum Requirements: Education Level: PhD or equivalent
Skills/Qualifications Skills:
Control/command of mobile robots / intelligent vehicles / autonomous systems.
Proficiency in C++ and Matlab/Simulink and/or Python programming.
Skills in perception / localization and/or communication networks are highly appreciated.
