Job Summary
The Financial Reporting & Consolidation Senior Analyst is responsible for providing direct support to the Consolidation Manager in matters of Consolidation. Additionally, you may be asked to support in Accounting and Controlling activities, such as liaising with accounting teams to ensure the proper closing of the monthly consolidation, controlling teams to ensure proper reporting, and accounting/treasury for the consolidated financial statements.
Key tasks & Activities
Consolidation
In charge of the monthly consolidation for the companies included in the consolidation perimeter (+/-60 companies, 67 plants in +/-15 countries);
Researches technical Consolidation/Accounting issues and their impact on the Group;
Supports the Group Companies included in the consolidation in matters of deadlines for the Group Reporting, technical support regarding IFRS, and technical support regarding consolidation procedures;
Identifies improvement issues for the next Group Reporting;
Prepares the Group Financial Statements (interim and year-end);
Participates in the annual external audit regarding Consolidation issues and Assets Impairments at a Group and Local Level;
Participates in projects related to Consolidation, such as Purchase Price Allocations (M&A) and Restructurings;
Collaborates with auditing services to ensure proper compliance with all regulations;
Provides support to Head Accounting & Consolidation for ad hoc requests from CFO, Shareholders, and Audit Committee.
Corporate Controlling
Liaises with the Corporate Controlling Team regarding consolidation and technical issues;
Participates in the preparation of the consolidated budget of income statement, balance sheet, and cash flows on a monthly basis;
Participates in the elaboration of an annual 5-year Consolidated Business Plan;
Elaborates several compliance reports to external entities (Financial Institutions) and Shareholders.
Accounting
Liaises with Shared Service Center Accounting Team, local accounting teams, and outsourcing teams regarding technical issues;
Supports the update and review of Accounting and Consolidation Policies;
Supports the month-end closing.
Who we are looking for…
Background and Experience
Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Audit, Economics, or Accounting;
3 years of experience in Financial Audit and/or at least 4 years in Consolidation.
Technical Skills
Fluent in English is mandatory;
SAP knowledge is a plus;
MS Office (Excel) is mandatory.
Interpersonal Skills
Organization and analytical skills;
Good verbal and written communication skills;
Commitment, teamwork, and cooperation;
Communication with other departments and external partners.
