Summary and Functions: The position is for a junior researcher in Analytical Chemistry to perform the following tasks: Establish and develop analytical protocols for the nutritional characterization of microalgal biomass Quantification of high-value compounds in algal biomass Quantification of inorganic and organic pollutants in microalgal biomass Perform untargeted metabolomics of algal biomass Supervision of undergraduate, master, and PhD students Participate in writing scientific papers and reports 4. Start Date: The contract is expected to start in January 2025. 5. Workplace: Activities will take place at CCMAR (University of Algarve, Faro, Portugal). 6. Working Hours: 35 hours per week. 7. Monthly Salary: Depending on the profile and experience, the gross monthly salary may vary between 2,294.95 Euros and 3,170.28 Euros. 8.
