No Offer Description UNINOVA – Instituto de Desenvolvimento de Novas Tecnologias opens an international call to hire 1 (one) Doctorate Researcher for the project "Green SELf-Powered NEuromorphic Processing EnGines with Integrated VisuAl and FuNCtional Sensing" (ELEGANCE, Grant Agreement 101161114), for the development of R&D activities financed by the European Innovation Council and SMEs Executive Agency (HORIZON-EIC-2023-PATHFINDERCHALLENGES-01), under the scientific-technical coordination of Doctor Emanuel Carlos. Admission Requirements/Profile of the Candidate: Applicants may be any Portuguese national, foreign, or stateless, holders of a PhD degree in Physics Engineering, Materials Science, Electronics, Micro and Nanotechnologies, or similar areas, duly registered and/or recognized in Portugal and that holds the following requirements: Solid knowledge in ink formulation, material deposition (coating and printing techniques), and device fabrication; Experience in materialsfabrication and processing, thin film deposition by printing techniques (screen and inkjet printing); Experience in electrical characterization of electronic devices (thin film transistors, memristors, and sensors); Experience in materialscharacterization (e.G., UV-Vis-NIR, FTIR, XRD, SEM, AFM, Profilometer); Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team in an international environment and to work autonomously; Fluent in English, written and spoken (Mandatory); Good communication and interpersonal skills.
