No Offer Description Opening Notice CALL FOR HIRING A PRINCIPAL RESEARCHER TO CONDUCT SCIENCE MANAGEMENT ACTIVITIES UNDER THE PROJECT "SMART RETAIL", UNDER ARTICLE 19 FROM DECREE-LAW NR 57/2016, OF 29TH AUGUST, ALTERED BY LAW NR 57/2017, OF 19TH JULY. Ref. Cube -SmartRetail- (CT/01/2024) CUBE - Católica Lisbon Research Unit in Business and Economics at Católica Lisbon School of Business & Economics, Universidade Católica Portuguesa, is awarding (1) Doctoral researcher to develop research in the frame of the project reference "Smart Retail " of the Retail Innovation Lab, with the financial support of national and European funds through PRR (Plano de Recuperação e Resiliência). 1. SCIENTIFIC AREA Marketing, Consumer Behavior and Innovation in Retail. 2. ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS 2.1. Candidates must meet the following general requirements: A PhD in the scientific area of Management, Marketing or Consumer Behavior Management, received at least 5 years in the past. 2.2. Candidates must meet the following specific requirements: Research experience in the areas of Marketing and Consumer Behavior Management and Retail Management. Research and intervention experience in research projects; Scientific publications; Experience in disseminating research and intervention results at national and international events; Experience in supervising master's students and teaching in Higher Education; Experience in Retail. Proficiency in spoken and written English. 3. WORK PLAN AND GOALS The main duties of the researcher are: Develop research aligned with topics related to Smart Retail and with other partners of the PRR project, namely in the areas of sustainable and automated retail; Develop case studies and teaching notes; Develop and submit articles to reference scientific journals; Work together with other researchers in the development of some of these projects. 4. APPLICABLE REGULATIONS Decree-Law No. 57/2016 of 29 August, amended by Law No. 57/2017 of 19 July, which approves a regime for hiring PhD holders aimed at stimulating scientific and technological employment in all areas of knowledge (RJEC), without prejudice to the specific regulations applicable to the Universidade Católica Portuguesa. 5
