Business, Data Analytics and Insights Senior Associate What you will do
You, as our Business, Data Analytics and Insights Senior Associate, play a pivotal role as a strategic partner to Commercial leadership, offering data-backed insights crucial for driving commercial success. You will be responsible for forecasting, producing budgeting and planning reports, data analysis, and supporting wider Business Units within the ACCP.
Other responsibilities will include:
Supporting business planning and decision making through financial analysis and calculating scenarios based on expectations.
Building detailed forecast models projecting units and revenue for Amgen products by indication/regions.
Efficiently gathering data and creating queries using SQL for data analysis and reporting.
Utilizing Tableau to create informative reports and derive valuable insights from data.
Taking ownership of complex calculations through understanding inputs and their relationships to the problem.
Collecting feedback and preparing communication plans to share outputs.
Supporting wider business units on an ad hoc basis (Finance/FP&A/Business Enablement).
What we expect of you Our ideal candidate is a team player with customer focus. He/she is problem-solving and result-oriented, has time and process management skills, and can compile data.
Proven experience and skills needed:
University Degree in commerce, finance, economics, mathematics, healthcare or related field.
3+ years working in a finance/data related field ideally Data and Analytics.
Fluency in English, both in written and oral communication.
Strong Excel knowledge (including VBA).
Working knowledge of SQL and Tableau.
Preferred Requirements: Experience in the Pharmaceutical industry and working with multiple data sources.
Proficiency in forecasting techniques, statistical modeling, and data analysis.
Highly skilled in working collaboratively in a team-based environment and gaining alignment across an organization.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex data and insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Working knowledge of IS systems (including demonstrated capability of other MS Office applications, Hyperion Pillar, Anaplan).
Demonstrates a service-minded attitude.
