Business Analyst

Responsibilities:Participate and influence sponsors' IT strategy (understand industry trends, be a go-to partner from conceptual model to execution of initiatives)Be a source of support and coaching within the IT Team on areas of expertiseUnderstand and analyze the needs of the Business related to one or more functional domains, with the aim of enhancing the IS with appropriate and sustainable solutions in line with the entity's strategic plan and the related request portfolioEnsure that the solution is compatible with the requirements derived from the Business's needsContact person within the project or maintenance teams and for the Business for Data and functional aspectsBe the liaison between the end-users and the IT development teamUnderstand and translate the business requirements into technical specificationsHelp with data architecture, data warehousing, and data mart modelingBe aware of the SDLC guidelines and make sure to adhere to itTechnical Skills:3+ years' experience in IT Business Analysis in a financial institution, having covered several business lines and functions a strong assetKnowledge of process analysis, design, and testing methodsExperience in ETL development, Unix, Database (SQL), and Autosys components is a plusKnowledge of data types, errors, data comparison, and data cleaningMust have strong technical and problem-solving skill set (Banking industry experience is a plus)Agile practice a strong assetKnowledge of Power BI and Business Objects SAP and their technical components
