We are now seeking a talentedBIM Coordinatorto join our office inLisboa, Portugal.
This critical role will work as part of the Design team performing technical drafting work using computer aided design programs in the preparation of planning drawings, conceptual, schematic, detailed design, construction drawings and maps.
Responsibilities
We envisage success in this role to include:
Responsibility for the BIM production on a project from setting up to completion.
Supporting, mentoring and coaching team members to further develop proficiencies and provide opportunities to learn and develop.
Developing and implementing the proposed BIM strategy and standards for clients.
Chairing BIM review meetings/workshops with Client including consultants and/or contractors.
Managing the BIM/design process such that the highest quality of design deliverables is submitted for project team reviews.
Carrying out BIM validation reviews ., BIM's, documentation files (schedules and drawing sheets) model checkers, design clash detection, visual checks, BIM360, QAQC checklists, RDS, Dynamo, COBie or any other applicable.
Ensuring and validating that coordination with other design discipline review teams are carried out.
Creating and maintaining project tracking documents for design outputs and reviews.
Monitoring the submissions of BIM design deliverables to ensure that all review actions have been responded and/or integrated.
Forecasting and monitoring progress for design actions that are on the critical path of design.
Monitoring consultants' compliance with BIM strategy and standards.
Assisting procurement team in tender development and award ., BIM capability assessment, execution plan, level of development matrix, models, registers, dummy TQ's, service agreements and appointments.
Providing BIM updates into monthly reports on status of design.
Identifying and assisting in creating content to enhance our digital asset and detail libraries.
Familiarity with MEP systems design.
Adherence to BIM execution plan and project workflow criteria.
Follow BIM content standards and development procedures.
Collaboration and coordination with other disciplines on design changes and model challenges.
Working within a team environment and can handle pressure and act as a team member.
Qualifications
To be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envision that your career journey to date will include 3+ years of BIM proficiency and knowledge in MEP systems, partnered with a Diploma/solid experience in Revit software.
Additional educational qualifications will be viewed favorably.
