Responsibilities:Enabling the Team Manage the Business Intelligence team compose today of 4 individual collaborators, ensuring team focus and productivity. Remove blockers, make quick decisions, and handle administrative tasks. Protect the team from distractions and external influences. Facilitate communication between the Business Intelligence team, stakeholders, and IT teams. Encourage self-reflection, self-improvement, and initiative. Promote high-quality code and set the team's roadmap. Facilitate team ceremonies and meetings, ensuring Agile and Scrum practices. Establish a culture of trust, clarify project requirements, and support the team's growth. Enabling the Individual Coach and mentor team members to develop skills and grow professionally. Provide regular feedback and conduct performance reviews. Help individuals understand their career paths and progress. Enabling the Solution Lead the architectural design of the Business Intelligence platform. Act as the subject matter expert for the team on the platform. Prioritize backlog items based on business value and feasibility. Review prototypes and validate solutions through testing and feedback. Enabling the Business Work with stakeholders to translate data requirements into actionable business insights. Balance quality and velocity to deliver optimal business value. Develop and communicate a business intelligence vision and roadmap. Provide regular updates on project status, roadblocks, and timelines to stakeholders. Profile sought: Degree in a relevant field 5+ years of experience in a similar role Experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies Expertise in business intelligence platforms and architectural design Strong communication and leadership skills Technical Skills: Good knowledge of the following Azure components: Data Factory v2, Azure Functions, AzureDevOps (CI/CD + GIT concepts), Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Stream Analytics, DataLake,DataBricks Good knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server & Azure Synapse Analytics Knowledge of the Power BI reporting tool Working experience with Visual Studio/Azure Data studio, PowerShell Scripting, and ARMtemplates Knowledge of big data tools and frameworks such as Apache Spark, Kafka, EventHub, Databricksare an asset Benefits & Culture: Flexible remote work options Professional development opportunities Dynamic and innovative work environment Department: Tech Location: Lisbon Start date: As soon as possible
