Responsibilities:
• Hire, train, and supervise restaurant employees, ensuring they provide exceptional customer service.
• Create and manage the schedule of the service and logistics department, optimising staff allocation.
• Ensure the restaurant and bar area follows and maintains high standards of cleanliness, organisation, and service.
• Implement policies and protocols to maintain or improve the service standards.
• Follow and enforce health and safety standards, ensuring a safe environment for employees and
guests.
• Supervise daily operations, overseeing front and back of house activities.
• Ensure accurate end-of-day reports are completed correctly.
• Coordinate daily with the front and back of house teams to ensure smooth operations.
• Handle customer bookings, inquiries, and complaints, ensuring prompt and satisfactory resolutions.
• Manage the restaurant''s image and suggest ways to improve it.
• Agree on and manage budgets, monitoring expenses and revenues.
• Identify methods to cut waste, decrease costs, and improve profitability.
• Oversee inventory management and order supplies as needed.
• Prepare staffing and employee schedules, taking into account business demands.
• Prepare staffing, sales, statistical, and financial reports.
• Collaborate with the restaurant manager to ensure guests receive excellent service and enjoy their
culinary experience.
Requirements:
• Minimum of 4 years of hospitality management experience.
• Previous and proven customer service experience as a restaurant manager in an upscale venue with over 14 million revenues per annum is desirable.
• Extensive food and beverage knowledge.
• Strong leadership, motivation, people skills and attention to detail.
• Experience in financial management.
• Good understanding of MS Office.
• Experience in Micros Symphony (or another POS platform).
• Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
• Be a native or fluent English speaker with a C1 level proficiency. Display effective communication skills in English is mandatory. The ability to convey information clearly, follow instructions, and interact professionally
with colleagues and the public is essential. As a Bar and Restaurant Supervisor or Manager, we expect leadership, communication, customer service, and operational skills. Continual learning and adaptability to our dynamic environment are also crucial to achieving long-term success in this role.
