Mission
As a System Engineer, you will ensure the Operational IT infrastructure is maintained at the highest standards. You will work with your IT colleagues and manufacturers on the development and revision of the IT system support strategies in order to ensure our SLA and system availability targets are met, and our Service Performance is brought to a higher level.
Responsibilities
Taking ownership of customer issues reported and seeing problems through to resolution.
Maintaining optimal level of customer satisfaction and identifying all customer issues, recommending appropriate resolutions.
Providing support by:
Researching
Diagnosing
Troubleshooting
Identifying solutions
Carrying out configurations
Performing upgrades
Carrying out migrations
Following standard procedures for proper escalation of unresolved issues to the appropriate internal teams.
Writing and maintaining documentation.
Being part of a 24-hour standby team.
Profile
Experience in day-to-day administration of and maintaining data backup & recovery solutions in a production environment.
Prefer specific experience with Commvault, Veeam Backup & Replication.
Fluent in English (written & spoken).
