Key Responsibilities:
• Optimize and refactor existing code to improve performance, scalability, and maintainability.
• Ensure the reliability and security of the backend infrastructure through best practices and regular code reviews.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues, bugs, and performance bottlenecks in a timely manner.
• Contribute to the architecture and design discussions, bringing innovative ideas and solutions to the table.
• Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives. Qualifications:
• At least 3 years of professional experience as a Backend Engineer .
• Proficiency in JVM languages such as Java or Kotlin .
• Experience with RESTful APIs , microservices architecture , and distributed systems .
• Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git ) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities. Nice to have:
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools. About the project: We require someone available immediately for this position, as the project is scheduled to run only until the end of 2024 . Work Policy: Remote Portugal-based. Main requirements Key Responsibilities:
