About the company:
Our customer is a Swedish-German e-commerce company. For over 20 years, they have sold and manufactured sheds, sauna cabins, hot tubs, and other wooden products that make it easy to enjoy garden life in 11 European countries.
At this point, they would like to find a Back-end Developer with experience and interest in integrations who can help them migrate from Lobster_data to an open-source solution.
About the Role:
You will work closely with the company's CTO to clarify the backlog and develop efficient technical solutions.
The CTO will provide you with clearly defined tasks. However, you are expected to have your own opinions and ideas regarding the development.
The e-commerce platform consists of Shopware 6 stores and a modern frontend (PHP and JavaScript-based Tech stack). The company is also building different applications for smart warehousing and logistics.
Your first task is going to be to plan and execute the migration from Lobster_data to an alternative open-source solution.
Who We're Looking For:
To succeed in this role, you should have several years of experience in a similar position.
Strong knowledge of PHP and JS (back-end focus).
Proven experience with middleware solutions and data integration.
Implement and manage data communication.
Experienced working with different data formats and EDI (electronic data interchange).
Good communication skills in English.
Keen to details, structured, and organized person.
Big bonus if you:
Have worked with Lobster_data or similar Middleware.
Have worked in the e-commerce industry.
Practical information:
It's a 100% remote assignment.
Location: Candidate needs to have EU citizenship and live inside the EU.
Start Date: January, Q1 2025.
Scope: Full-time, long-term.
