Provide support to the Business Controller, analysing relevant information (financial or other) and advising the management and others responsible for operational departments in the hotel Detect and transmit any needs and opportunities in hotels under your responsibility to the Business Controller Participate in the preparation of the budget for the hotel Monitor the budget for the hotel and report any relevant deviation or incident to the Business Controller Carry out local processes for the close of accounts in the hotel Analyse and report any deviation compared to forecasts to the Business Controller Participate in the preparation of forecasts for operational departments in the hotel together with the Business Controller Apply and ensure compliance with the Hotel Administration and Accounting rules, processes and procedures in the hotel Assist with the internal audits in the assigned hotel Coordinates cost control duties, analysing and optimising them in the assigned hotel Supervise the posting of movements in accounts made in the assigned business unit What are we looking for? At least 2 years of experience in a similar role in a hotel High level of Portuguese and English Knowledge of hotel business management and its specific requirements knowledge of projections, budgeting, finanial results reporting Knowledge of SAP would be a plus Leadership and negotiation, planning and organisation skills, results oriented, teamwork At Meliá we are all VIP Great professionals who make everyday life easier and exceptional.
