Further information available at and Due to the company's continual growth and forthcoming capital deployment stream, Norfin intends to select : Asset Management Associate The Asset Management department is responsible for managing c. €2.1bn of real estate assets, implement the underwritten business plans and maximizing investor returns. The selected candidate will work within the management team to ensure the successful implementation of strategic decisions, adherence to budgetary and schedule constraints and the overall execution of the business plan.
The successful candidate will integrate a team that manages the exposure to a group of companies responsible for expanding and operating a high-profile hospitality, residential and golf resort in the Algarve region with already planned investments in the several hundreds of millions.
The candidate's specific role will be more in the financial side of management and may include:
Participate in the management of the assets, across a wide array of areas (development, legal, marketing, commercial, financial, etc), in coordination with in-house teams, 3 rd party service providers and external partners. Participate in financial modelling, assumption review and board/investor memorandums to assist in management decisions and strategic reviews Keep financial models up to date based on the latest financial information and perspectives (sales, capex, operations, debt, etc) and keep track of budget execution Participate in the production of investor reports, assist investors with information requests related to financial matters Keep track and anticipate the investment capital needs, prepare capital calls and capital distributions Assist on matters related to existing financings and in securing new financings Coordinate and mentor analysts engaged in the same projects This is a Lisbon-based hybrid role (2 to 3 days per week in the office are expected)
Profile Undergraduate and/or master's degree in Finance, Management, Economics, Engineering or related field 3+ years of experience in real estate investment or asset management, strategic, management or financial consulting, corporate finance positions or similar fields Relevant financial modelling skills and real estate or hospitality knowledge will be highly valued Advanced knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint Strong analytical skills and critical thinking (especially regarding data, assumptions and strategy) Fluent in English and Portuguese Strong ability to communicate effectively in writing and speaking A high degree of attention to detail and a will to constantly learn and evolve Collaborative and open attitude, contributing to a positive culture High sense of responsibility, project ownership and ambition to grow into a holistic real estate investment and asset manager
