Application Support Lead

Our client is a leading group of companies operating in the IT sector for over 20 years. We are currently seeking an Application Support Lead to join their team in Lisbon.

Location: Lisbon (Portugal)
Work model: Hybrid - 1 to 2 times per month

We are seeking an experienced Application Support Lead to take on the role of Team Leader for a team of application support consultants specializing in Appian. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in managing application support teams, particularly in non-functional areas, and will be proficient in the configuration and management of users, environments, and system integrations within the Appian platform.
DAY-TO-DAY DUTIES:

Lead and mentor a team of functional and non-functional Appian application support engineers.
Configure and manage the Appian platform within an enterprise setting.
Oversee and maintain development, testing, and production environments for Appian.
Monitor and optimize the performance of the Appian platform, identifying and resolving performance issues.
Manage software updates and patches for the Appian platform.
Configure and manage system integrations with Appian.
Experience in low-code application support

REQUIREMENTS:

Experience in low-code applications support, including user configuration, environment management, and system integrations (4-5 years).
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle performance issues within low-code apps.
Preferably, certifications such as Certified Appian Administrator or Certified Appian Developer.
Valued experience in team management.
