JOB SUMMARY: To ensure that customers (external or intercompany) are up to date according with the payment terms and commercial conditions and collection allocated on daily basis, manage and update customer conditions in the system in a timely manner, all queries are resolved speedily and that all monies are collected when due. PRIMARY JOB FUNCTIONS INCLUDE: Maintaining the Accounts Receivable (AR) ledger to enable timely cash collection. Establish regular contact with customer accounts departments regarding payment of invoices. Management of Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) and preparation of appropriate reports. Monitor customer-trading terms and ensure Dawn requirements are met. Ensure customer statements are issued on a timely basis. Ensure that the companies' debt collection procedure is followed. Liaise with Accounting Manager to arrange implementation of legal proceedings where required. Support Balance sheet reconciliation for account receivables. Support cash pooling treasury department. Ensure compliance with the Group's Treasury rules and Credit Limits. Support internal and external audits. Monitor and control bank receipt payments ie SEPA. Prepare Direct Debit runs on regular basis. Support the Accountant Manager on the monthly financial closing activities (MeC) of the entity. Work closely with other team members and will provide cover where and when necessary. Perform any other reasonable duties required. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field required. PREFERRED EXPERIENCES: At least 3 years experience of a credit control function. ADDITIONAL NOTES: Intermediate skills in MS Office (Excel, Word). Experience using SAP is required. Good communications skills, oral and written. High attention to detail and accuracy.
