Job Purpose
Analyze and implement finance processes and policies by handling daily financial needs, including accounting, reporting, forecasting, budgeting, financial control, and providing advice and support in line with business needs, finance strategy, regulations, and accounting standards.

Key Tasks
Implement and deliver highly complex and/or specialized projects and processes related to Accounting/Reporting; Financial Reporting Under IFRS; Treasury Management; Working Capital management; Policy Development; Statutory Accounts Preparation/Audit; Planning and Forecasting, and Taxation
Advise and guide line managers on finance matters and interpretation of financial results and measures
Maintain awareness of business outlook to identify business implications and risks
Manage financial resources and ensure that financial transactions, systems and procedures comply with regulations, accounting principles and standards
Identify, analyze and resolve complex issues and provide recommendations
Provide forward looking financial insights on market conditions, competitors and alternative business scenarios
Knowledge and skills required
Bachelor or Master Degree in Finance, Accounting, Controlling, or equivalent
Certified accountant under Portuguese laws is necessary
Minimum 2-3 experience in Controlling or Finance roles
Solid understanding of finance and accounting guidelines and processes
Finance business partnering competencies
Fluency in Portuguese language and proficiency in English are necessary
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel
Experience working within international organization / group desirable
