As part of the Accounting Department, you will integrate the Financial and External Reporting Team in charge of the production and justification of financial statements at Sword Health. This department counts about 20 people with a target to be between Portugal and the US. You will join a team of 12 people in Porto. As an Accounting Manager, you will be in charge of the certification of financial statements, i.E. produce, analyze, make any corrections, and validate the accounting results and exposures, as part of the monthly and quarterly closings, of the activities. What you will be doing: Accounting: Overview booking and controlling of all financial transactions; Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations; Ensure timely monthly closing and reporting of the financial statements; Assist implementations efforts for new accounting standards and policies (ASC 842, CECL and ASC 606 experience a plus); Perform technical assessment of new financial reporting developments; Play an integral role in the development, implementation and maintenance of the financial accounting systems (NetSuite, Brex, Zip experience a plus); Work cross functionallyto continuously accelerate the close process; Build financial reportsin NetSuite for internal and external reporting
