Accounting Intern

Verisure (in Portugal known as Securitas Direct) is seeking a talented, innovative, hands-on and passionate Accounting Intern to join our Shared Services Center Team, with colleagues in Sweden, Geneva, Madrid and Lisbon. The role will report to the SSC P2P Team Leader and will be based in Lisbon.

Responsibilitieswill include, among others:

Support P2P process: receiving and processing invoices, assure communication to and from all
Point of Contact for internal and external stakeholders
Support reviewing and assuring proper classification of cost center and accounts on POs
Assist manager and peers on the daily activity
Performing ad hoc Accounts Payable and Procurement duties as required
Collaboration with local finance specialists to accounting, tax, annual reports etc. to ensure adherence to local legislation

Recent graduate/finalist in Finance / Economics / Accounting / Business
Strong interest for Accounting
Fluent in written and spoken English (mandatory)
Positive attitude

Methodical and attention to detail
Enjoys working with a variety of IT systems
Organized, willing to learn and suggest improvements on existing processes
