Accounting, Finance + Planning And Control Assistant

Fórum Selecção is looking for an Accounting, Finance + Planning and Control Assistant (M/F), for Lisbon

Main activities:

1. Accounting Support:
- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
- Verify and reconcile financial data to maintain accurate records
- Register invoices, purchase orders, etc.
- Assist in month-end and year-end financial close activities
- Collaborate with the accounting team to resolve discrepancies and issues

2. Finance Support:
- Assist in managing cash flow by monitoring and forecasting cash needs
- Prepare and process bank deposits and withdrawals
- Assist in reconciling bank statements and resolving discrepancies
- Maintain organized and up-to-date records of financial transactions

3. Planning and Control:
- Analyze financial data and assist in producing financial reports and presentations for management
- Assist in the preparation of the annual Budget
Complete multiple statistics and required inquiries for government authorities

Profile and skills we look for:
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Proven experience in accounting or treasury roles is a plus
- Proficiency in English (both written and spoken) is required
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, etc.)
- Knowledge of Access is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate clearly
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Knowledge of Navision and/or JiBE is a plus

- Schedule between 8.30 am until 12.30 pm and 14.00 pm until 17.30pm
- Location: Lisboa
