Accounting Assistant

Job Description:Are you looking for a new challenge as Accounting Assistant? Do you speak English fluently?We are currently recruiting for our client, a multinational company that manufactures mobile phones, as well as other devices such as televisions and home appliances, located in Porto Salvo.Responsibilities:Perform supporting tasks related to accounting, tax, and cash management processes:Book invoices from vendors in all related systems managed by Fin & Acc. (GEVS, IBTS, EPS, IMP, Lease, GNMS, etc); Guarantee the archive ofvendor documents (Manage physical and digital archive); Analysis, review, and report of accounting data; Support CATS activities (control test), support Physical inventories (FA/INV); Execute regular reconciliations (vendor, data, etc); Review accounting entries and accuracy of VAT booking, support the preparation of VAT submission files on a monthly basis; Support the preparation of CIT declaration, annual declaration (IES), dossier fiscal; Preparation of other taxreports (Modelo 30, Modelo 10, statistics, etc); Perform VAT (GTAX) update and reconciliation for Group purposes; Support payment process execution (Mass payment), including communication with vendors; Report to Bank of Portugal.Ideal Profile:Degree in Economics, Management, Accounting, Finance or a relevant field (mandatory); Fluent/Native English Speaker (mandatory); At least 2 years of experience in similar roles (mandatory); Knowledge of accounting processes and principles (IFRS/SNC) and of Tax law, procedures, and reporting (CIT, VAT, IES, etc); Knowledge and experienceof SAP (plus); Good capabilities using IT tools, especially Excel; Ability to work under pressure, organizational skills; Analytical and reportingskills.We offer:Attractive salary package; Health insurance;Annual bonus; Initial and continuous training.#J-18808-Ljbffr
