ResponsibilitiesContribute to the definition of standards and good practices.
Work hand in hand with projects and products counterparts to advise them on the standard devices or the identification of new ones.
Engage with stakeholders to discover opportunities for improvement and innovation, eliciting business requirements to continuously enhance the device offering.
Actively participate in the architect's design of the infrastructure for provisioning, managing, and securing standard devices.
Testing and validating new hardware devices or new configurations to satisfy new business needs and ensure continuity of the standard through models' lifecycle, evolution of the market and adoption of new use cases.
Communicate about best practices, standard catalogs, technical documentation and governance for the provisioning and adoption of standard devices in the Group.
Define and maintain the technical requirements common to all type of devices in the scope of Workplace Systems.
Ensure all catalogs are up to date and well communicated to all relevant stakeholders.
Maintain the main communication channels with the community of consumers of internal standards.
Collect feedback, ideas, and change requests for standard models from any source and guide the process to validation and adoption.
Maintain in sync catalogs and asset management systems.
Manage vendor escalation of issues with catalogs.
Define personas and mapping of models to roles with the collaboration of all stakeholders.
Administer portals for catalog and procurement of Hardware.
Structure the data collection and generate or collect reports for analysis of expenditure and adoption of devices in the Group.
Facilitate the B2B integration of vendor's portal with internal asset management systems.
Academic BackgroundBachelor's or Master's degree in information technology or computer science or equivalent experience.
CertificationsSecurity Knowledge or Certifications.
Automation/Scripting Certifications.
Skills & Experience5+ years of experience as a Standards Management Engineer.
At ease with complex technical discussions regarding interconnected environments and can summarize the main points for technical and non-technical audiences.
Writing clear documentation for technical peers and for end users.
Knowledge on how to gather and elicit requirements from business stakeholders and technical partners.
Customer-oriented and excited about providing high-quality services and products.
Autonomous in managing your own projects and when required motivate and lead a group of people to achieve a common result.
Assess risks related to implementation at large scale of technical solutions.
Good foundational knowledge about Networking and Security concepts.
Experience with Cloud services, mainly with SaaS applications. Knowledge of advanced Cloud topics, preferably on AWS, is a plus.
Knowledge with how Operating Systems work and how to configure and manage them in an enterprise environment through consoles and management systems.
Knowledge with all the following tools: Jira, Confluence, Teams, Sharepoint and Service Now.
Experience writing scripts in at least one language (Python, Power Shell, etc). More coding experience is a plus.
Knowledge of low code tools such as Power Platform is a plus.
You can manipulate data from a variety of sources, extract insights and visually present results.
Knowledge of the End User Computing market and industry.
You understand device lifecycle across different type of device types and use cases.
Good analytical skills in gathering data, collect input from various stakeholders and translate them into actionable improvements.
Knowledge of Hardware Asset Management in Service Now is a plus.
Experience in using M365 tools (Sharepoint, Viva Engage, Teams) to share knowledge and communicate internally with large communities of stakeholders (IT Support, HR, Procurement, etc…)
You can easily deal with vendors and conduct Quarterly Business Reviews involving management and other stakeholders as required.
Knowledge with SLA and OLA and in general with Service Management.
Any ITIL certification is welcome.

Previous experience in a large international environment is advantageous.
