What will this role achieve? We are looking to recruit a highly motivated individual for a Warehouse Team Member role at MDC.
You will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced distribution environment managing the inbound and outbound of finished goods.
Warehouse employees will be provided with smart uniforms once the six-month probationary period is completed.
You will be issued relevant PPE at induction and we will expect you to wear this at all times.
What will be your key deliverables? 2 weeks training when you join – FLT / Counterbalance/ VNA / PPTReport all accidents and near misses.Offloading finished goods and packaging into the Warehouse.Loading finished goods onto trailers.Picking product from pick-face.Use of an FLT/Counterbalance/PPT/VNA.Accurate receipt of stock and inputting into WMS system.Maximise Warehouse efficiency whilst minimising waste.Ensure the efficient operation of the Warehouse whilst carrying out quality inspections and maintaining a safe working environment.Ensure housekeeping and hygiene standards are maintained to the highest levels.Support the business with the generation of any improvement initiatives.Bring your experienceThe successful applicant will work as part of a dynamic team and be able to perform the various roles required.
They must have a 'can do' attitude and positive approach to help maintain the high standards required in distribution activities.
FLT Licence experience is desirable but not essential.
All training will be provided – you will be considered with or without an FLT licence.
Shift Pattern Warehouse Double Days – 2 Week rotating shift pattern:
Mornings - Monday-Friday 6am-2pm
Afternoons – Monday – Friday 2pm – 10pm
