They make sure that their products flow smoothly in all stages of the digital value chain.Their main areas of focus: vehicle software & operations, mobile online services, IT security, fleet management, sales & after sales, purchasing & logistics, and product portfolio management.You'll be focused on:Developing, deploying, and maintaining automotive backend microservices based on Java Spring and powered Angular; Working in the context of automotive, you will use DevOps principles to create, test, and deploy backend solutions as well as internal tools using modern cloud infrastructure; Actively contributing to tech and architecture decisions; Contributing with your team and other teams on all questions around backend and tool development in an automotive environment; Working together with the team defining architecture.In order to succeed, you'll need:Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or comparable work experience; Proven experience working as a Fullstack Developer or related role; Solid experience with backend development with focus on RESTful APIs, event-driven architecture, and integration; Solid experience with Spring Boot / Java framework; Willing to work in a multicultural, interdisciplinary balanced product team; Understanding of Serverless Architecture; Experience with Angular; Strong communication and analytical skills; Great English skills, both written and spoken.Nice to have:Build an effective team by providing clear guidance about the work and attracting, managing, and developing people.Mentors and engages team members towards team goals and timelines.Support junior members of the team and support in the assessment of candidate technical skills.Nurtures a positive environment to keep people hopeful, optimistic, and intrinsically motivated and gives the team ownership and exposure
