Our client is an award-winning global investment bank. As part of their European expansion, they are now seeking a Valuation Control Specialist to support the EMEA Global Non-Linear Rates business in Paris. This role can be recruited at the following levels: AVP, VP or Director.

The Valuation Control Specialist (AVP, VP or Director) will take responsibility for the following duties:
Providing essential advisory and control support covering P&L, balance sheet, and valuation controls.
Partner with trading desks, valuation groups, and market risk teams, contributing to business forecasting, valuation control processes, and governance.
Execute and analyse valuation controls and adjustments.
Partner with global teams to enhance methodologies and streamline processes.
Support internal control initiatives, including SOX and error reporting.
The Valuation Control Specialist (AVP, VP or Director) will meet the following credentials:
Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or CFA holder.
Expertise in accounting concepts and valuation of complex non-linear rates products.
Experience in a matrixed, global bank is essential – candidates must have previous experience working in a global investment bank (which operates on at least 4 continents).
