Goparity is an impact finance platform that connects companies that need funding for sustainable projects with individuals and organizations who want to invest sustainably. Through our crowdlending platform, users can loan entities that pursue sustainable projects. We are growing both in terms of size and impact generated. We were born in Portugal in 2017 but have since financed projects and grown a large community of investors worldwide. WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
A talented UX/UI designer who will help shape Goparity's future by designing a product that should reflect our vision to democratize sustainable finance. Your role will be to convert quantitative and qualitative insights into world-class experiences for our investors and promoters. The work involves product strategy, UX and UI design across the whole experience (from awareness to reinvestment stage) and all touchpoints (web, tablet, and mobile). We're looking for a team player, eager to work in a startup collaborative environment, and to be constantly learning, while taking full responsibility for the tasks you develop. You will report directly to the CMO of Goparity and work closely with Customer Success, Marketing, and Development teams.
ABOUT THE ROLE – KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Drive the end-to-end process for solving UX/UI design problems: ideate, conceptualize, design, test, and refine (this applies to optimizing current features and developing new ones).
Conduct user research and usability testing to understand our users' needs, pain points, and behaviours and translate these insights into actionable design decisions. We have a very close relationship with our community - they want to be heard, and we want them to help shape Goparity.
Ensure that every design decision is rooted in user empathy and accessibility and that it aligns with our goals of creating positive social and environmental impact.
Produce high-quality design solutions through wireframes, mockups, and prototypes that clearly illustrate how features and functions should look and feel.
Work on our Design System to bring uniformity, scalability, and consistency across our product and platforms.
Contribute, update, and maintain a company-wide style guide.
Design UI components that reflect our brand and appeal to users, ensuring a seamless, enjoyable experience across all digital touchpoints.
ABOUT YOU
Mandatory
3+ years of experience in Product design , preferably within the startup world.
Proficiency in industry-standard design and prototyping tools (ideally Figma).
Ability to collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams , especially with product, engineering, and customer success from strategy definition to execution.
Strong understanding of responsive design and experience in designing for both web and mobile platforms, knowing that our product for individuals is mobile-first.
Experience conducting user research and using findings to make informed design decisions.
Understanding of design systems and ability to scale design components efficiently.
Excellent interpersonal communication skills – you must be a good mediator.
Ability to keep your files and folders super organized.
Fluency in English .
Residency in Portugal or Spain .
Experience in the start-up world, preferably a fintech and/or in financial products.
Experience with Webflow.
Experience with designing for agile.
Experience with Jira.
International work experience.
Knowledge of accessibility standards and a commitment to creating inclusive experiences.
Familiarity with designing for impact-driven products.
Residency in Lisbon or Barcelona.

25.5 days of vacation (3.5 extra days on top of the 22 legal days: 1 Carnival + 1 Birthday and + 1.5 days during the Holiday season (between Christmas and NYE).
Compensation range
Our offers are based on the annual salary cost for the company, and, for this position, we have a budget of 31,000€ to 37,000€. Translating to everyday language, our range for this role is of a total gross package of 26,500€ to 30,500€ (including 9.60€ food subsidy per working day (approximately €211 per month).
Workplace
We are remote flexible - maximum liberty comes with full responsibility. We are based in Wonder Work (Bairro Azul) in Lisbon and have a desk in Barcelona, but you can work from anywhere if you do the work. We have one mandatory in-presence meeting, happening every quarter in Lisbon.
