We're looking for an experienced UX/UI graphic designer to join the Matrix One ecosystem of dApps and AI Agents including: Matrix One, Chain News, Sam and Avatar One - where you'll help define and shape the Matrix One ecosystem. This is a key role for the company and you'll be part of a talented, collaborative team that values trust, creativity, openness and ownership.
You'll be:
Working on the forefront of web3, AI and immersive technologies, where there are opportunities to invent entirely new design patterns and experiences for how people explore and interact with AI Agents.
Helping showcase AI Agents in different immersive and interactive applications.
Redesigning the way we as humans interact with AI.
Working directly with the Engineering team, Core team and Marketing team.
The team has an office in Caldas da Rainha, Portugal where you will be expected to work from as well as remote work possibilities.
What you'll do:
Perform user research, including organizing and holding user interviews. Use feedback and data to inform design strategy.
Take broad concepts and turn them into simple, useful products and features—You'll own design initiatives from concept through launch, mapping the initial UX & polishing the final UI.
Pitch your own ideas, contribute to overall strategy and decision-making about product direction.
Partner with engineers to enable them as they implement your ideas.
Facilitate design workshops to create alignment between teammates around your projects.
Give and solicit feedback from other team members in order to continually raise our bar for design quality.
Help build, maintain, and evolve our design system.

What you have:
A strong portfolio of UI projects showing attention to visual craft.
3+ years experience shipping digital experiences across platforms.
Excellent collaboration and English communication skills.
Strong interest in web3, AI and/or 3D modeling.
Comfortable working autonomously.
Ability to rapidly prototype lean solutions, and an understanding of when to keep things low-fi vs. pixel-perfect.
Exceptional visual craft, you're detail-oriented and have a deep understanding of design fundamentals.
Ability to support designs with qualitative research and user insights.
Experience in building and delivering design systems.
Ability to multi-task and work effectively under pressure with careful attention to detail.
High level proficiency in Figma.
High level proficiency in Webflow.
Experience collaborating with product and engineering counterparts.
Bonus points if you have:
Experience in designing AR/VR or 3D experiences.
Experience creating VRM Avatars and rigging.
