Unit Manager - Pousada Convento De Evora.

The Pestana Hotel Group is the largest Portuguese hotel group having 100 hotels in 16 countries across three continents.
We are currently seeking a passionate Unit Manager to coordinate all the operations at Pousada Convento de Evora.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise work at all levels (receptionists, kitchen staff, maids, office employees etc.) and to set clear objectivesPlan activities and allocate responsibilities to achieve the most efficient operating modelDevelop and implement an intuitive and efficient strategy to promote the hotel's servicesCommunicate with customers when appropriate (welcome them in the facilities, address their complaints, find solutions to problems, offer information etc.)Deal with maintenance issues, shortages in staff or equipment etc.Collaborate with external parties such as suppliers, event/conference planners etc.Inspect facilities regularly and enforce strict compliance with health and safety standardsKey Requirements
Proven experience as Head of Department or other relevant roleMinimum of 3 years experience in a leadership positionFluency in Portuguese, French and English; knowledge of other languages is a plusWorking knowledge of MS Office; knowledge of hotel management software is an advantageDemonstrable aptitude in decision-making and problem-solvingReliable with an ability to multi-task and work well under pressureGood leadership skills and a great attention to detailDegree in Business Administration, Hotel/Hospitality Management or relevant fieldIf your profile matches this description and you are eager for a new challenge kindly send us your CV .
