What you'll do Onboard Video Solutions Engineering team, the team responsible for the end-to-end Quality and Assurance deployment of the Vodafone Tv platform in several OpCos of the Vodafone Group and for the design and implementation of any custom-made solution required to address any specific or strategic market need not addressed by the central Tv platform.
Main responsibilities:
Define, design and implement TV solutions addressing commercial requirements or technology evolution;
Coordinate and manage vendor and internal stakeholders activities in project deployment ensuring time to market and compliance to functional and non-functional requirements;
Install, configure and customize software components for video solutions;
Manage capacity and lifecycle for all systems in scope;
Drive quality engineering practices and continuous improvement in the team;
Partner with the product and other engineering teams to ensure the highest quality builds are deployed at the customers devices;
Test planning, specification and execution under several conditions;
Actively monitor and follow up on the status of various issues within the portfolio;
Act as a Tv engineer, interfacing with TED, VNO, UC, VCoE and other stakeholders, for the continuous optimization of the above mentioned;
Support Operational teams in post-delivery period, including technical analysis of incidents, bugs or performance issues and help designing and delivering fixes.
Who you are Engineering Career degree (preferable) or equivalent training
High level of written and spoken English
Knowledge of telecoms and video technologies, namely on IPTV, DVB and cloud technologies
Troubleshooting and critical thinking skills
3+ years professional experience
