As part of the Accounting Department, you will integrate the Financial and External Reporting Team in charge of the production and justification of financial statements at Sword Health.This department counts about 20 people with a target to be between Portugal and the US. You will join a team of 12 people in Porto.As a Treasury Analyst, you will be in charge of the monitoring, tracking and record of all the bank transactions; reporting all company cash activities to the management and supporting forecasting cash activities.What you'll be doing:Daily Reconciliation and Analysis:Perform daily reconciliation of bank data and incoming wire and ACH settlements.Analyze reconciliation output and investigate and resolve any discrepancies.Monitor and ensure accuracy of outgoing ACH settlement files.Process correcting entries to clients using automated tools and manual adjustments.Payment Processing:Initiate electronic payments, including wire transfers and inter-bank transfers.Manage the payment process for vendors, ensuring accurate and timely execution.Cash Posting:Analyze customer payments and post to customer accounts accordingly.Manage process for communication with RevOps team when payment assistance is needed.Financial Reporting and Analysis:Document transactions accurately and update ledgers and the financials database.Prepare regular treasury reports, including budget monitoring and variance analysis.Support FP&A Team with cash flow forecasting.Verify, monitor, and investigate discrepancies in inventory cash spending.What you'll need to have:University degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or any related field.Proven experience in similar roles.Proficiency in MS Excel for data analysis and financial reporting.Strong knowledge of banking processes, wire transfers, and ACH settlements.Familiarity with accounting software (experience with NetSuite and Primavera is a plus).Effective communication skills to collaborate with internal stakeholders and external parties.Bonus Points or We'd Love to see:Financial shared services experience is preferred, ideally with international experience.Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to investigate and resolve discrepancies.Self-motivated and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.Strong time management and organizational abilities.*Please note that this position does not offer relocation assistance.
