Sleep.8 is a company which found its origins in London, specializing in the manufacture of furniture and mattresses. In just 3 years, we have opened 36 stores in 8 European countries and our expansion plan foresees the opening of several stores nationally and internationally, marking a new era for the group. Currently, we intend to increase our team in our production unit in S. João da Madeira. Your role as "Treasurer" is very important to us. You will be responsible for ensuring enough cash reserves and assets are available to see the organisation through changing economic conditions, and often use financial products such as share trading to enhance liquidity. THE DAY-TO-DAY OF A TREASURER IN SLEEP.8: · Manage incoming payments; · Manage bank accounts, solving day-to-day issues and maintain a proper level of communication with banks; · Deposit received funds · Document all business financial transactions · Oversee and approve all financial plans or revisions to plans · Operate and improve payment process; · Plan and ensure adherence to the pre-determined financial budget for the year; · Ensure the protection of funds from any potential misuse by any other members of the committee. Requirements WHAT WE SEEK IN YOU: · Degree in Accounting (preferred), Economy, Management, Finance or similar areas; · Previous experience in a relevant position in a corporate international environment (minimum 3 years); · Fluent in English; · Ability to multi-task and manage competing deadlines; · Exceptional ability to communicate complex financial information; · Valuable time management and prioritization skills.
