Job Description
Your contribution to something big: Coordinate and supervise the work of transport team in reception and dispatch material, according the contracts of freight forwards; Carry out the monitoring and analytical control of all the indicators of the operations and ensure all the necessary administrative processes; Promote proposals for improvement and overall efficiency of the transports, logistics processes, material and information flows and productive control. Develop and maintain cost efficient foreign trade processes (import/export clearance, FTA application). Monitor changes in customs laws & regulations and ensure that the relevant processes are adopted accordingly. Coordinate requests from Customs Authorities or customs brokers with the relevant Bosch functions (LOG, ENG, FIN, etc.). Maintain accurate records of all import and export activities, including customs clearance documents, invoices, and shipping records. Continuously improve operational excellence (identify savings potentials – e.g. application of free trade agreements, duty suspension, utilization of special customs procedures, etc.); follow ongoing CIP projects and savings initiatives. Perform internal controls according to Central Directive Customs (detailed analysis of submitted import declarations). Monitor and control FT KPI and key figures (customs duties, import/export volume, broker costs, import declaration errors, etc.). Implement site specific export control procedures. Support ECO in official Export Control audits and monitoring of measures. Supervising the implementation of export control procedures on site. Qualifications
What distinguishes you: More than 3 years of experience in a similar function; Fluent in English, spoken and written; Knowledge of customs regulations and procedures; Knowledge of international trade; Knowledge of export control regulations and regimes; Practical experience in foreign trade operations and processes (import, export, trade agreements); Excellent presentation, communication and planning skills required; Process oriented with mindset of continuous improvement and learning; Demonstrable ability to lead and manage staff; Excellent analytical, problem solving and organizational skills; Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects.
